Lester + Bingley was engaged to provide strategic advice in relation to the repositioning and expansion of a business park in Northumberland. Working closely with the client, architects and a leading UK contractor, we assisted in reviewing unit configurations, layouts and development opportunities to maximise the site’s occupational appeal and income-generating potential. Through careful planning and collaboration with the wider project team, the scheme was successfully transformed from an underutilised asset into a modern business park better suited to occupier demand. Our involvement focused on enhancing the long-term performance of the asset, increasing rental income potential and supporting the client’s wider investment objectives.

Lester + Bingley advised on the repositioning and development of a former 45,000 sq ft office building in Nottingham, which was successfully converted into a 166-bed Purpose-Built Student Accommodation scheme. Acting as a strategic consultant throughout the project, we assisted in connecting the client with experienced national contractors and specialist advisors to oversee the conversion process from inception through to completion ensuring building compliance was met in line with current legislation. Beyond the development phase, we continued to support the client with operational and asset management considerations, ensuring the scheme was optimised for long-term performance and future disposal. The asset was subsequently traded successfully for several years, creating a well-established investment opportunity positioned for a future sale into the institutional and private investment market.
